Mast Step

Post by Barn Lancaster » Sat Dec 05, 2015 3:00 pm

The mast step on the boat is at an incline which causes the mast to lean forward when it is square on the aluminium plate that is bolted to the mast step. If I rig the mast so it is straight up it doesn't sit flat on the aluminium plate. Should I build up the mast step with epoxy to provide a square face or can I rebate the mast step ?
