West 406 Silica

Post by Capt H » Tue Aug 19, 2008 1:35 pm

Does anybody know if there are any compatibility issues using West 406 silica with marine epoxy and microballons for fairing?

There should be no compatability issues with that I don't think, but I'm not an expert.

No, silica is silica. WEST probably buys it from the same supplier than we do but they put it in nicer cans.
Any fillers from other brands can be used with our resin and vice-versa.
