Now you’ve got to remember that I’ve got two places.
Beach: $53.35 elect, $13 water (septic but city supply)
Charleston: $69.76, $42 water ($35 for sewer)
I’m in for $123 elec, $55 water

Now here’s the stupid. The Charleston apartment which is new and used only 185kWH vs beach which used 252kWh. Where you get taxed matters here.

Now compare Nov ‘16 at the beach to this year. Remember that the house is from ‘53 but repurposed WWII mil quarters... and the heat pump was manufactured in ‘86. Ran 879kWh for a bill of $229.55, water was $35. Now we have all CFL, 1kft and no pool. Tiny house.

In NY we paid Fuzz rates in the winter, $1,300+ for gas/electric. 3kft, 100+ years old, limited insulation. And that was using natural gas for heat.

Do I now have to consult an economist and accountant to understand this list? I thought it was about goop and plywood. :help:

Just got my multitool from Harbor Freight. Was hoping it would hold up pretty good, had over 400 reviews and still a low 5 out of 5. But now I have to worry about my power usage over the winter! 8O How much sanding is there!?

All electric except propane stove/oven. 1800 square feet with in-ground swimming pool. Well water. Average $150/month. I'll have to calculate $/kWh, but our local power company has some of the best rates in the state. Just replaced all the windows, so am anticipating even lower bill next month.
