It is a nice looking cold box, but will it keep things cold? You know after it goes into use you have to give us the scientific analysis/data that it keeps stuff cold. :D :D

I love the drain tube idea!
I bet it will perform great with ice retention.

After a few rounds of sanding and fairing (and sanding and fairing) I’m trying something new to me. Coated the inside of the lid and cooler body with three coats of tinted epoxy.

Used up the last of my Silvertip Yacht Primer coating the exterior of the cooler and lid.

I too need to give the shop a good cleaning. This time of year there are so many projects that just as one is finished I start on the next.
