1995 Yamaha 15 tiller, good, bad?

Post by Capt UB » Thu Jul 11, 2019 12:30 pm

Found a 1995 Yamaha 15 2 stroke. About an hour away, clean looking and one owner...

Waiting on model number from seller, don't know if it's short or long shaft, it is a pull start.

I know the 25/30's 2 strokes, 50 and 60's 4 strokes, but not the Yam 15 or smaller.

Anybody know these 15 hp from the 1990's?

It comes with a 14 ft. aluminum john boat, no trailer.

Thought he was in Palm Coast, he is in Palm Bay. Too far at this time for me.

Bob,

They are great little motors and this is what I have on my FS14 and after sitting for 1-1/2 years she started right up and ran good.

I bought mine about 7 years ago from Craigslist over in Alachua which was over an hour away. I think I paid 1000 for it.

Drive the distance to get it. You will love it.

Regards
Tom

Those motors are absolutely bulletproof, imho.
