What I don't understand is if Eric is an expert how come he missed the transom by about two feet when he clamped the motor on that boat in his avatar.

"Bateau Builder", 5 stars, will be assigned to someone who has completed at least one small/simple boat, or they are enough of the way through a large boat that they will be helpful to beginner. This person will have a good knowledge of our materials and building techniques
Joel, having completed a R13 and then cut it in half :!: , is this considered completion :?: :) .

Pictures in the Finished Boats/Splashed section of this forum November 2013.
Completed R13 two part nesting rowboat. ST 21 under construction .... where seeking perfection is recognized as the enemy of the good.

Launched the GF18 a few weeks ago. Seems not to be leaking and it hasn't fallen apart at the dock. Yet

Can I get the bateau builder tag?
