Camp Trailer

Post by davekf » Fri Aug 23, 2013 1:46 pm

I completed my camp trailer this last summer and final got around to posting. It's built on an old tent trailer frame. Panels are from marine ply with biax tape on the corners. Epoxy glued the panels to the frame to avoid all the screw dimples. I did have to use a few screws, though. Door and windows are salvaged from wrecked RVs.

Sorry not a lot of details, just a few pics. It turned out better than I thought it would. Our first trip was to Yellowstone, and was a great success! :D

It's missing something: a boat rack on the roof.

Awesome job Dave. Wondered if we couldn't use our method for a rv, looks like it works.

Nice and clean job. Is that a door in the back? Like a toy hauler?

Awesome. I have thought a lot about doing a teardrop using the stitch and glue method.
