This is cool. Frying Pan Tower web cam

Post by Cracker Larry » Wed Sep 09, 2015 11:09 am

Check this out. Real time web cam from 3 different cameras on the tower at Frying Pan Shoals NC. One at the top, one shallow water and one on the bottom. The cameras pan around to a different view every minute or so. You can view them in full screen mode and use it like a screen saver. Real time aquarium. I like the deep water cam the best, never know what's going to swim by next. The shallow cam will almost make me seasick!

and my boss now hates you. I can see many hours spent contemplating things other than budgets and staffing alternatives in my future.

I tried to say something but God thought I was wrong and filled my mouth with saltwater. I kept my pie hole shut after that.

So far today...
3 barracuda have had a snack
1 large shark bullied everyone out of the sand box
1bazillion fish schooled into a ball then exploded.

Larry is evil. And I have the attention span of ADHD rat terrier hopped up on speed.

End of productivity for Steven. I'll be running this on one of my computers at work full time. This never gets old.

Mrs wants to know "can you put that on the TV?"

You've destroyed all productivity in this house. They will find our bodies on the couch, with smiles on our faces. They wont care... they will be mesmerized by the virtual aquarium on the large screen. The only evidence will be my browser history pointing to this thread.

I tried to show Mrs. Cracker last night, and duh, it was dark. Nothing but black screen. They need some underwater lights, then we'd be ruined 24/7

I don't think it is "dark". When I first check in at ... this is embarrassing ... 6:00 am ... the deep water cam is in night mode. It is still dark above the surface to there must be some type of night camera. I'm wondering if they power off for energy conservation.
