Great picture Seth 8) No frost on the pumpkins though

It's been weird here, up and down and up again. We had some cold and a few freezes in October and November, but December has been crazy warm. Lows in the high 60s, highs near 80 for the last couple of weeks. Love it! The weather heads tell me it's going to freeze again Saturday morning though. Winter's coming back.

I had a fun day replacing our dishwasher today, smarter now than I was this morning. Actually if I was smart I would have paid the $130 installation fee, but I'm stubborn. Of course, nothing on the new one matched up to the old one....couple of trips to the hardware store....finally got her done I think. It's running a test load now. Mrs. Cracker will be very happy with me :D

Don't second guess yourself. At least you know it's done right. I paid the installation fee on the vent hood in the house I moved into. Several months later I happened to be up in the attic and found the vent pipe not even connected to the roof vent. Now I do it all myself. At least that way I know who's responsible for shoddy workmanship. LOL

Larry, I feel for you on the dishwasher install. I've done a bunch of these over the years. They make them different every time so the hardware store can make some more money. I don't work on washing machines or dryers(story too long to tell). Sometimes just better overall to pay someone else. John

Methinks everyone's just busy, busy, busy. I know I have been. My sail should be done this week, as it was promised before Christmas... even though I am waiting for warmer temps now before I finally finish fairing the hull and priming then paint. We have an excellent sail loft here locally, Sails by Morgan.

Once again I have caught myself being wishy-washy on the next build. I've gone from the Sharpie to the Carravelle, then I look at the 21 SeaPro Walk outside thinking of stripping her for her hardware and 150 Evinrude and building like, say the Open Pilot 21. Decisions, decisions. I've never been happy with the SeaPro.

Finally, I decided to just finish the new D5...sail her.... and decide if I'm happy and content with that performance.

Merry Christmas everyone! :D

 Great pic, Cane has that "what am I, chopped liver?" look, but I bet he'll come around. All I've done of late is fool with the model FS13, but that's been fun. Home Depot had some little 3' pieces of quarter inch square sticks for a buck each that I'm using for a few cleats. I could just glue things down as is but I seem to have lost my mind. Oh well, I did get some wood glue to use instead of epoxy. Now, to fix up a scaled down long board....

How are you going to fit in the bed now Larry

Cane will train the new pup to be a great snake dog.
