Of all the boats I've been in, my Fs18 with flotation foam under the sole is the most solid floor I've ever seen, especially for a small light weight skiff. The flotation is an added bonus, But the stiffening of the entire hull is impressive. There is absolutely zero flex or movement of the hull while running through a chop, and my rods lay in the rod holders without being bungeed down, and they have never even shown the slightest movement, rather they just lay there as if the boat was at rest. I can contrast that with my buddy's Carbon/Kevlar Hell's Bay Glades Skiff, that if you don't strap down the rods they bounce out of the rod holders whenever you hit some chop.
