Peter,
Be sure to spread out the load of impact where the frame will contact the board. That shell isn't too strong on a surfboard. It might be fine without it for an average person the way you have it now. But, the average people usually ride the rides not sit around watching others. Just my .02. You are a talented man. Love watching what you come up with for your projects.

Hi Steve,
Not sure I understand. but I did put the boards outer ends on some cinder blocks and stand on it with several (300 + pounds) , didn't move much, it says it has a hexagon core don't know what it is exactly but it is strong and super light

Peter,
That makes sense. It has a honeycomb core instead of it being one sheet of foam. You're good. It will disperse the weight more evenly.

Finished :D Larry's method worked well but instead of a allen wrench I used a router, because the wrench ripped open the thin outer fiber shell at first try Image

Peter, those look absolutely gorgeous!
After reading your whole build thread and watching the vid you put up, all I can say is you are an artist and a supreme craftsman!
