And, CNN's Anderson Cooper got found out as well when he was caught standing waist deep in a flooded ditch while his camera crew was 20 ft away standing in shin deep water.

Well...2 hours, 2 buckets, 2 sponges and 2 sore backs later, my daughter and I were able to get the boat back to being dry and covered. That water smelled like fish!! 8O

How i spent my weekend in NC. My BIL deployed the Sunday before Florence. When SIL finally got back, she could hardly get anyone to return calls. We got 98% of the house cleaned up. Now waiting on ServPro to treat the mold. I had to leave my generator there or they can't remediate. They don't bring their own power! :?

It was "funny" that the outside of the house had a different level than the inside by a foot!

I may go back in November for rewiring the house. Christmas may be drywall.

Same here. The boat will wait for a while.

If I am reading this correct you are doing this for family. You are a good man taking care of the home front while BIL is off serving all of us.
Thank you :!: And him
