Dorian

Post by cape man » Thu Aug 29, 2019 7:04 am

4 to 5 days from now Florida may look a bit different. For those of you on the east coast, I wish you well. I would offer refuge, but we are almost certain to get impacted as well, especially since all the rivers are at or close to flood stage and have been for a month. Remember it's just stuff, and focus on you, family, and others. If anyone does need anything, now and especially next week, post it here. This community has responded before, and I wager it will again. For those of you unfamiliar with where everything in Florida is, Boat Builders Central is in the current crosshairs of a category 3 storm this weekend. I hope they are shipping supplies Tuesday!

I’ve got a smaller house now but if anyone needs to evacuate, let me know. I’ve got a full-size bed and a futon that are empty. Kids and dogs are welcome!

Not sure if Jacksonville is out of it yet but we will make room if anyone needs to head up here. Just a phone call away!
