Logging in

Post by bateau-webmaster » Fri Jan 11, 2008 5:32 am

I have modified the forum code. You should be logged into the gallery automatically when you log into the forum. It is working for me.

Update and it also works when you log in to the gallery (you are also logged into the forum).

Of course for this to work you must first log out, if you stay logged in all the time (about 600 people were logged in when I changed this).

This may affect the "see posts since last visit" function.

It may also have other secondary effects. Please report them on this thread ONLY.

Thanks

BWM

When you are in the main index of the Message Board... click on the User Control Panel. Then in that... click on the Profile tab, and under that click on Edit Account Settings, to get this. :)

Hi,

Is it standard for some reason for new users to be put into the category of Registered COPPA? I got an email sent to me yesterday after I registered asking for my parent or guardian to sign and fax or mail the form. Well, I'm 50 years old and I highly doubt that I need a parent or guardians permission to do anything. And when I do login there is nothing available to me since I'm in I believe the Registered COPPA group. Just wondering as I'm wanting to determine which plan(s) to buy for a potential boat build I want to do.

If they are registered as under a certain age yes. You must have pressed the wrong button when you registered.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure how scary it is that if I can't simply read a webpage to get my account created whats going to happen when I try and read a set of plans. Good grief. Its squared away now so thanks again.

Randy.
The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once.
