Photobucket Fix Browser Addon

Post by pee wee » Wed Oct 04, 2017 9:40 am

I came across this in another forum, there are now addons to display the photos from Photobucket that weren't displaying before due to Photobucket changing their policies. I'm using Opera browser, I didn't find an addon for it, so I used one for Chrome and also an addon for Opera to make Chrome addons work. It is here: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/sear ... et%20fixer (I'm using the one from Jesse Evers)
There are also options for Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...obucket-fixer/

I haven't explored to see what's available for Mac users, nor what will work for mobile uses, but it may be out there, too.

This is an addon so you can view the photbucket pics embedded in posts as you used to be able to.

If this is old news, maybe there is still someone like me who hasn't gotten it yet. Hope it helps.

Thank you Hank, I wasn't aware of those addons, link for Firefox you posted was dead for me but found this one and works great! :D

Well, it may be that Photobucket doesn't want anybody to have a fix for the problem they created, because the addons I installed have stopped working.

edit: There seem to be some Photobucket links that don't work at present using the addon, and some that do . . . I dunno!
