Avatars

Post by peter-curacao » Mon Oct 09, 2017 10:08 pm

Avatar size is to small, been testing this last couple days had the most ridiculous things up there, like a camel toe (serious the real one ) but it is hardly noticeable, can we get some more (gif) space and pixels for that?

I just tested and you are right, the image I use as my avatar on most forums does not work here.

When I try to upload an Avatar Image wrote: It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image. Please verify that the URL you entered is correct.
The submitted avatar is pixels wide and pixels high. Avatars must be at least pixels wide and pixels high, but no larger than pixels wide and pixels high.

Hi,
Most probably we must wait until some of our friends who have nice little pictures there tell us how they did it like Tony who has a beautiful picture of himself rowing in his V10. I tried it a couple of times but was also not successful in uploading any picture.

Hi Peter,
I see your avatar picture all of a sudden ( the skeleton view of your racer ). How did you do it ?

I had numerous avatars up here it's not difficult they are just to small imo, if you didn't saw the real picture of the "skeleton" you probably wouldn't know what it was from the avatar alone.
Anyway, you can upload an avatar ( real small one, around 80x 80 pixels max) on User control panel (click on your name upper right)-> Profile -> Edit Avatar -> upload avatar.

Speakin' of which, when I first posted mine I was following the example of Peter, who has now unaccountably taken the shot of is boat down. I seem to be the only one anymore. :(

I didn't take anything down, aren't you mixing up avatars and signature pictures?

Maybe I am but didn't you have a picture of your boat for a signature?
