TX18 reduced 10%

Post by mbasura » Sun Jan 24, 2016 6:59 pm

Is the TX18 a candidate to be reduced 10% in length to make it a TX16 akin to a Mako 16?

I don't have a requirement for shallow draft, but like the hull design and easy access to the water (low freeboard). My garage is to small to fit a 18' on trailer.

Yes, that could work. She will still be self bailing if not built too heavy.
Scale everything by 10% = multiply all dimensions by 0.9 but keep the clamping board height the same.
