14’ flat bottom with Modified V

Post by Tungsten » Wed Aug 07, 2019 2:52 pm

Hi all it’s been a few years since I’ve been around here. I’ve sold my only boat so it’s time to get something new. Flat bottom Jon with a modified V at the Bow is what I’m looking for. 14’ 48” min at the floor. Used mainly for lakes and some floats in my local river. Small motor when I’m on a lake.
Being able to load this on a roof rack on my truck would be a plus. So 250 lbs max. Boat loaders say they can lift 400 lbs but rather not push it.
Any suggestions?

So after a beer or two the gv 13 has dead rise ,no good for floating my river. So I need to adapt the bow from the gv 13 to the 14’ Jon. Needs the flat bottom. The reason for the v Bow is waves slapping as when I’m lake fishing it will be under anchor. I’ve had a flat jon before and the slap slap slap all day drives you nutts
