Boat Builder Central Website

Post by Reid » Mon Oct 14, 2019 11:30 am

Hello Everyone,

Our website hosting company is doing some updates to our website today. I may be down from time to time. If you are trying to place an order or have any questions about any products, please give Jeff or I a call at the office (772-742-8535). We would be happy to process your orders over the phone. You can also email us with questions or orders, orderdesk@boatbuildercentral.com

Thank you,
Reid

Hey Everyone,

In an effort to keep improving and making our website more user friendly, you will notice some changes when you visit www.boatbuildercentral.com. These changes will be taking place over the next couple of weeks. We have already altered the Marine Plywood section and are currently working on the Boat Plans/Kits.
Please let us know what you think. We definitely value your feedback!
Have a great weekend!!
-Reid

Looks great!

A quick thought from a casual glance and thinking of recent UX arguments at work...
  • oakum and meranti bs-6566 have separate lined for weight and bending. Meranti bs-1088 combine these. It would be easier to compare if m1088 used the same separation
  • list all the common attributes at the top in the same order. this allows the uncommon to filter down as extra lines at the bottom of the list
  • a lot of companies use a table for this, but I think your method is great.
If you look at "product comparison" sites you'll see this in action.

I tried to say something but God thought I was wrong and filled my mouth with saltwater. I kept my pie hole shut after that.
